It started with a feeling.

I’ve spent years designing spaces and learning how profoundly light, material, proportion and atmosphere can shape the way we experience a room.

Over time, that understanding became something more personal.

I began to notice how deeply our surroundings can influence the way we feel — whether a space helps us exhale, reconnect and feel at ease, or leaves us feeling overstimulated, restless and disconnected.

That realisation became the foundation for Maison Laurène.

A belief that beautiful spaces can do more than simply look good. They can support the way we want to live, rest, gather and feel.
